Viña Cousiño Macul
Maipo ValleyAn 1878 cellar inside Santiago
Matías Cousiño bought the Hacienda Macul at the foot of the Andes in 1856, in what is now Santiago. His son Luis and Luis’s wife, Isidora Goyenechea, replanted the vineyards with vines brought from France, and the cellar visitors still walk through opened in 1878. The winery is still owned by the Cousiño family.
