Frequently asked questions

How many wineries should I visit in a day?

Two or three. Each visit takes about an hour and a half and most need a booking; add the driving between them and, often, lunch at a winery.

When is the best time for a wine route?

Harvest time: February to April in Argentina and August to October in France and Spain. Each region has its dates and festival in the LagarLab harvest calendar.

Do I need to book the visits?

Yes, at almost all of them. Check days, times and prices on each winery’s official site before you go; the LagarLab winery cards list their contact details, verified on their official sites.

Can I drive between wineries?

Not if you are tasting. Book a transfer or a driver, or plan the day so that someone who is not tasting drives.
